We got the giant bucket of ice cream at Buckets for $14. In addition to the watermark being great, the food options were good (we ate at Dunkin Donuts, Buckets, and the pizza place that I cannot recall the name of). I was actually very pleasantly surprised at the a,out of things that he could do and enjoy being so small. He was happy the whole time he was in the park! The 3 yr old also had an absolute blast! He loved the little toddler area for smaller kiddos, but he also braved some overt of the waterslides, the lazy river, and this obstacle course/playground type of area. He even loved water spraying on him from above. Well, we didn't really need to split up because both boys cooperated the whole time because they had so much fun! Sure, the baby was too little to "do" anything, but he LOVED just splashing around in the water and watching his big brother play. I found a Groupon for Great Wolf Lodge for a very reasonable price (which included $50 dining credit), so we thought we'd give it a shot-figured worst case scenario: I stay in the room with the fussy baby while my husband stays in the park with my older boy. I have a 3 year old and a 6 month old, so going on "trips" can be a little difficult these dzys as the baby doesn't always cooperate & the 3 yr old moves too quickly. I use my phone as my GPS, so it would be super helpful if there was a way to charge my phone without worrying about someone stealing it while we played at the waterpark. the kids or me! I only have one suggestion: After we checked out, we played at the waterpark, but I did not have a safe place to charge my phone before getting back on the road. I'm not sure who had more fun wearing the ears. Oh, I forgot to mention, each child received free wolf ears upon check-in. There are plenty of restaurants close by if you wish to venture out of the resort. The onsite restaurant was a little pricey, but very convenient. The staff all seemed to care a great deal about the quality of their work and the quality of the guests' experiences. There was a supervisor running around all day, going from ride to ride, making sure everything was running smoothly. I was also impressed at the level of supervision. The teamwork was very apparent to me, and we were only there for a one night stay. The staff all appeared to be well trained and worked as a team to ensure everyone's safety at the waterpark. They even shared with me stories about funny things my kids had said to them. Now he carries his wolf everywhere! The waterpark staff were all friendly and went out of their way to make sure our kids were having a good time. Our little guy immediately stopped crying and ran to join the rest of the parade. Our littlest child tripped and fell during the parade and a staff member quickly jumped into action, handing him a plush wolf toy that had a bandaid embroidered on it's head and a little sling. Our kids went trick or treating, made crafts, toured a "haunted"area, and participated in a Halloween Parade. During the month of October, the resort offers Halloween activities in addition to the regular activities. Our room also had a balcony furnished with outdoor furniture, a microwave and a minifridge. This was super cool, because the fireplace room had a flat screen above the fireplace and a sofa bed in addition to the double queen beds and the TV in front of the beds. Upon check in, we were informed that our room was upgraded for free to a fireplace room. We had booked a double Queen standard room. We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge for one night while our kids were on Fall Break.
